SAS*Warrior Course
Course description:
The SAS*Warrior (Earth Warrior) course offers a comprehensive introduction to adapt the sword as a part of the body and the spirit of the sword as a part of the daily life and training. The trainings units should be revised and practiced as a "homework" supported with online video clips.
Learning outcomes:
On completion of this course you will have a good basic understanding of coordinated body movements with the sword, balanced footwork, controlled strikes & thrusts and harmony / timing in the partner exercises.

Lesson Details:
Warm up - The Warm up is based on continous movements with the sword and rythmic music to adapt the way of the blade and prepare body and mind for the following session.
Technique Teaching - Techniques of defending, attacking, footwork and body movements with the sword.
Choreography - Sequences of defense and attack movements against fictive enemies performed with full spirit to cut.
Stunts - Briefed attack and defense with one or more partners performed with full spirit of harmony and timing.
Stretching - Stretching exercises to improve flexibility and support the recovery process.
Meditation - Short meditation to settle into yourself and review the session mentally.
